Chapter 120: We Can Talk About Money

Abigail leaned casually against a gurney. When she saw him come out, she even winked at him.

Yellow Hair, disappointed that it wasn’t his boss, snorted, while the tall guy watched Pullan warily.

Pullan was unsure whether to move forward or back, so he asked friendly, “You guys here to move bodies too? That’s right, head down to basement level two from here.”

After speaking, he pushed the gurney aside and continued walking forward, nudging Abigail, “Hurry up, the car will be here soon.”

Abigail nodded and followed.

“Stop!” But before they could take a few steps, tall guy reacted, his long leg kicked directly at Pullan.

Pullan, who had regained much of his strength, dodged the kick, but he was secretly alarmed. This guy was a martial arts master. If not for his years of muscle reflex training, he might not have avoided it.

Pullan stepped back, his expression becoming serious.

While being chased into the morgue, Abigail noticed that the most skilled among them was the tall guy; his previous attack confirmed her suspicion.

Seeing them now fighting without a clear advantage, her dark, bright eyes narrowed. She pulled out a silver needle, paying close attention to their movements.

Yellow Hair didn’t understand why these two suddenly started fighting and looked at Abigail with a questioning gaze.

Abigail glanced at Yellow Hair, “I’ll give you two million to hold him off.”

“Uh… No way. Gordon is my brother. I can’t betray him for money.” Yellow Hair held his head high with a sense of loyalty.

Abigail, “…” Who knew people still valued loyalty these days?

But Abigail didn’t have time to argue with him. She glanced at the two breathing weakly on the gurney and was about to stab Yellow Hair with a needle…

Ding!

Just before Abigail acted, the elevator door opened with a ding.

Yellow Hair’s eyes lit up, “This time it must be the boss. Gordon, stop fighting. We can talk about money…” Mid-sentence, Yellow Hair looked puzzledly at the four people in the elevator, “Why are there two extra people? Boss, who are they?”

Abigail’s heart skipped a beat. She looked at one of the middle-aged men and suddenly called out affectionately, “Cousin!”

The overly sweet voice shocked Pullan, causing the 6-foot man to shiver despite himself, his expression indescribable.

Abigail pretended not to notice, her tone both aggrieved and dramatic, “Cousin, you finally came. They are trying to kill me. Please get rid of them for me. That tall guy is the worst. He even hit me! Cousin, boohoo, you must avenge me!”

After speaking, she coquettishly raised her chubby little hand, one hand on her hip, pointing at the tall guy.

There was a moment of silence in the air.

A woman acting cute had an advantage.

But a 440-pound fat woman acting cute was deadly.

No, she was now down to 370 pounds, but still deadly.

Tall guy had stopped fighting when he heard Yellow Hair call the boss had arrived. Now, hearing Abigail’s cry and being specifically mentioned, though disgusted, his sharp gaze landed on the other two people in the elevator.

Those two chased out of the research lab, still confused about the situation. Suddenly hearing Abigail’s cutesy voice, they thought it was a delicate girl. Following the sound, they saw a fat woman gazing at them tenderly, pausing in their steps and instinctively looking at the other two.

They thought they were Abigail’s cousins.

But the leader and scarfed man were already looking at them warily. The middle-aged man was about to speak, but the boss, believing Abigail, thought the others were about to make a move. So he struck first, punching.
