"Thou art wasting this opportunity," Cronus remarked after seeing Rex activate The Titan\'s will. The ability only lasts for five seconds and Rex was going up against a Cerberus who had split into three different forms.
"Just watch me, Crony" Rex grinned
{Countdown: 4 seconds left}
Name: Cerberus
Strength: 35
Agility: 40
Endurance: 40
Abilities: Claw strike
"Wow," Rex smiled. He had expected each of the Cerberus to possess one-third of the Original\'s strength but instead, they each had half of its strength. It just didn\'t seem fair but well..."It\'s not like it matters"
{Countdown: 3 seconds left}
One of the Cerberus leaped in the air and slashed at Rex, only this time, it was sluggish due to Rex\'s new power-up and Cerberus\' declined stats after they broke up. "Not exactly breaking up like couples tho, I mean they literally broke up.....ugh" Rex facepalmed disappointed at his own thoughts.
The Cerberus was so slow that Rex felt he could keep waiting all day for its attack to land. He gently sidestepped the incoming claws and threw an Aether-infused punch at the Cerberus causing almost a large explosion that rippled through the Cerberus\' skull. It exploded into pieces on impact.
{Countdown: 1 second left}
Another Cerberus lunged at Rex again, sending a claw strike in his direction. Then that was when Rex discovered something. There were still three Cerberus present. "How is this possible?" Rex questioned, looking confused. The Cerberus had regenerated back to normal
"To kill it, Thou must vanquish it\'s middle head first" Cronus replied
{Countdown over, Stats are returning to Norma...}
Just as the countdown for Rex\'s Titan\'s will was about to finish, he instantly did something he should have tried a long time ago "Time rewind!" He shouted. A soft green light enveloped Rex\'s body, sending a warm feel down his spine. He felt like he was being pulled backward by an unknown force but he was still in the same position and then.....
{Passive ability activated: A TITAN\'S WILL}

"Yes! It worked!! Talk about a system glitch!" Rex yelled in excitement. The Cerberus stared at him like he was a madman. They couldn\'t attack him because they had noticed the increase in his power level. He had applied time rewind on himself, hence sending him five seconds back to the time when he first activated the Titan\'s will skill.
"You motherfu...." Cronus hesitated, heaved a sigh, and then continued "I shall let it pass now but as from thence, thou shall not be able to use such trick any longer"
Rex grinned, feeling the surge of energy course through him once again. The Titan\'s Will had reset, and his stats doubled for another five seconds, thanks to his quick use of Time Rewind. He stood before the three Cerberus forms, feeling the rush of power return as they hesitated, confused by his seemingly endless stamina.
{Countdown: 5 seconds left}
"You\'re telling me I can\'t use that trick again, Cronus? That\'s like telling a kid not to press a shiny red button," Rex chuckled, dodging another slash from the regenerated middle head of Cerberus.
Cronus sighed deeply in his mind. "Indeed. Consider this the last boon thou may exploit. Thou art fortunate to have it even this once."
"Yeah, yeah. Now watch me work."
Rex\'s body blurred with speed as his agility, bolstered to unimaginable levels, outpaced the Cerberus\' every move. The first one lunged at him, but in this state, it was almost as if time itself had slowed down. Rex casually sidestepped the beast and delivered a spinning roundhouse kick infused with Aether to its flank. The impact was devastating. A shockwave of blue energy erupted from the blow, sending one of the heads crashing into a wall with a thunderous explosion.
"Wow, these stats really make me feel like the boss. You know, Cronus, this is the most fun I\'ve had in a while," Rex quipped, watching the Cerberus reel back from the blow.
{Countdown: 4 seconds left}
The other two heads snarled, their crimson eyes burning with anger. They charged at Rex simultaneously, claws slashing through the air with brutal force. Rex smirked, almost toying with them as he activated Time Control, slowing down their already sluggish attacks even more. He took a moment to stretch as if bored, then darted behind them in a flash, watching their confused strikes cut through nothing but air.
"Is this even a fight anymore?" Rex joked as he cocked his fist back, Aether swirling around his hand. With a single punch, he smashed one head into the ground, cracking the floor beneath it. The ground shook as the impact rippled outward, leaving the beast whimpering for a brief second before the head dissolved into blue particles.
{Countdown: 3 seconds left}
But Rex\'s smile quickly faded as the head that had just been obliterated reformed with sickening speed. He cursed under his breath. "Damn, I forgot. These things can regenerate. Thanks for the heads-up, Cronus."
Cronus\'s voice rumbled in his mind, "Didst thou not hear my previous warning? Thou must slay the middle head if thou wishes to end this battle."
Rex let out a long, exaggerated sigh. "Of course, it\'s the middle one. Why is it always the complicated solutions?"
The three heads now regrouped and formed back into one body. It growled menacingly, sensing Rex\'s intent to target it.
The Cerberus, now fully reformed with its three heads snarling in unison, lunged at Rex with renewed fury. Its massive claws slashed through the air, but Rex, with his heightened agility from A Titan\'s Will, darted effortlessly between its strikes. Time seemed to stretch as Rex twisted and turned, narrowly avoiding the lethal blows as the Cerberus\'s claws whistled past him.
{Countdown: 2 seconds left}
"Alright, no more playing around," Rex muttered to himself, his eyes locking onto the middle head. He remembered Cronus\'s warning: the middle head was the key. With a grin, he skidded to a stop and gathered Aether into his fists, blue energy swirling violently around him. The Cerberus roared, sensing Rex\'s intent, but it was too late. Rex moved with incredible speed, blurring past the beast\'s outer heads as they snapped at him, trying in vain to catch him.
Rex leaped into the air, time seemingly slowing as he propelled himself high above the Cerberus\'s massive form. He rotated mid-air, his body twisting with perfect precision, and brought his fist down toward the middle head with all his might. The Aether swirled around his fist, glowing fiercely as it crackled with raw power.
"Take this!" Rex shouted, slamming his Aether-infused fist into the center of the middle head. The impact was explosive. The ground quaked as the force of his punch sent shockwaves rippling outward. Blue energy erupted from the contact point, engulfing the Cerberus in a blinding flash of light. Its middle head buckled under the sheer power of the strike, its skull fracturing with a sickening crack.
{Countdown: 1 second left}
The Cerberus\'s body trembled violently, its other heads flailing wildly as it tried to recover, but Rex wasn\'t done yet. He landed gracefully on the ground and immediately followed up with a spinning back kick to the beast\'s torso, sending it staggering backward. The once-fearsome Cerberus howled in agony, its form flickering as the magic holding it together began to unravel.
"Now stay down," Rex muttered.
{Countdown over}
The Titan\'s Will effect faded just as the Cerberus collapsed to the ground. Its middle head had been completely destroyed, and without it, the beast could no longer maintain its regeneration. The remaining heads dissolved into a cloud of blue particles, dissipating into the air. The colossal body of the Cerberus shimmered and faded into nothingness, leaving only silence in the aftermath.
Rex stood there, catching his breath, his body still buzzing with the remnants of Aether energy. "Phew. That... was something," he said with a tired grin.
Cronus\'s voice echoed in his mind, this time with a hint of approval. "Thou hast proven thy strength, but know this, Rex. Foes far greater than Cerberus await thee. This was merely the beginning."
Rex chuckled, stretching his sore limbs. "Yeah, yeah. I\'m ready for whatever comes next. Bring it on."
He looked around the now-empty space where the Cerberus had stood. "So... do I get a key or something? Isn\'t there supposed to be a prize?"
Suddenly, the ground beneath him began to glow with ancient, ethereal light. From the glowing spot, a small, ornate key appeared, floating gently in the air before him. Rex reached out, grasping the key, and felt a surge of power course through him as he held it.

"What do you mean a part of me?" Rex asked
"They can now be used as thou wilt it! In simpler terms, thou dost not need Aether to use time control anymore and as for god\'s eyes, it\'s upgraded but thou canst use it yet" Cronus replied
